Jonathan Alderson, Founder and CEO
Jonathan is an autism treatment specialist and founder of the innovative Integrative Multi-Treatment Intervention Program. A Masters graduate from Harvard University, he has experience as a Curriculum Specialist Coordinator with Teach for America, and 8 years of training at the Autism Treatment Centre of America in Massachusetts, working in their Son-Rise Program as program administrator and a senior therapist trainer. His international work includes the Middle East, Australia, Ireland, England. and Mexico. He has spoken at the Royal College of Pediatricians (University of Nottingham) and the Canadian Psychiatric Research Foundation. Currently he serves as Chair of the Seneca College Behavioural Sciences Advisory Committee and an Executive of the Harvard Club of Toronto. He has written for The Huffington Post, ParentsCanada Magazine, and The Autism File. Jonathan is the editor of the book Autism 101 2nd Ed. and is the author of the 7-award honored book Challenging the Myths of Autism. He is the founder and CEO of Health Innovation Platform Inc.
David Benoliel – Interim CTO and CMO
David is an entrepreneurial and energetic business leader with 30+ years experience founding, growing, and managing numerous companies, both domestically and internationally. After completing a math degree at York University in 1991, David dove right into his first technology startup in the interior decorating industry which he sold in 1997. David’s desire to learn new things led him to work in various industries including interactive marketing, enterprise technology consulting, advertising technology, affiliate marketing, online dating, eCommerce, SMB and Enterprise SaaS, online education, and eHealth. More recently, David founded and successfully exited a marketplace platform for social media creators. Prior to that David worked as CMO and COO at FlipGive, a youth sports fundraising platform.
David enjoys building things that break through the clutter and deliver value – growing and driving teams toward successful partnerships and customer development from early stage to market scaling for multi-million dollar operations.
Bogdan Chmielewski – Director of Technology
Bogdan is currently the Director of Technology at Health Innovation Platform Inc. He is a seasoned software architect and technical leader who creates products, software solutions, APIs, user experiences, mobile platforms, and data analytics pipelines. He leads teams, evaluates technology products and patents, and builds software to streamline operations. He is currently the Director of Technology at Health Innovation Platform Inc. He has run his own company Decode Technology for over 10 years. Bogdan spent 5 years as CTO and Co-Founder of Sweet Caesar where he built and managed a team that launched over 50 mobile applications on the web, Android, iOS and BlackBerry. He had a short stint as a Strategic Alliance Associate with Research In Motion where he analyzed strategic acquisitions, joint ventures and intellectual property portfolios in wireless technologies, mobile media, computer security, and location – based services. Before this, he spent 3 years as a Software Developer and Software Manager at SOMA Networks in Toronto, Canada. He earned a B.A.S in Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo and an MBA in Finance from the Rotmans School of Management, University of Toronto.

Sanjay Tugnait – President and CEO, Fairfax Digital Services
Sanjay is a visionary C-suite executive with a proven record of driving digital transformation across Fortune 500 companies making them cognitive enterprises for the future. He began his consulting career with Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC) as a Principal in their strategy and business transformation practice. Sanjay’s previous leadership roles include Chief Market Maker & Global Managing Partner – Sustainability Practice for IBM Consulting, Chief Executive Officer for Capgemini Canada, and Managing Partner in Accenture’s North America Financial Services practice. He has represented companies at major global forums including the UN COP26, Glasgow and the World Economic Forum, Davos. Sanjay is currently the President & CEO of Fairfax Digital Services. Sanjay serves on the boards of multiple non-profits including Chairman of the Blockchain Research Institute Advisory Board (founded by Don Tapscott); President of France Canada Chamber of Commerce; Board Member of Trillium Health Partners Foundation, and Breast Cancer Canada. He is also on the Dean’s Advisory Council for Schulich School of Business at York University. Sanjay’s formal education includes the Sustainable Business Strategy Program at Harvard Business School, the Leadership Development Program at the Booth School of Management, and an MBA from London University.
Dr. Jenya Doudareva – Ph.D. in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering
Jenya Doudareva earned a Ph.D in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto. Her research focuses on developing a generic simulation model for Emergency Departments. Her academic career has focused primarily on applying industrial engineering and mathematical optimization techniques to problems in healthcare. Jenya has wide industry expertise in healthcare administration, aviation, management consulting, process automation, and AI. She has held research positions at Sunnybrook Hospital, St. Joseph Hospital. and the Unity Health Network all in Ontario. Jenya has worked in healthcare organizations such as OntarioMD and the Association of Family Health Terms in Ontario. She has provided management and digital services consulting for the Burnie Group and Kainos. Currently, Jenya is a freelance operations research expert/consultant (currently helping Sunnybrook Hospital improve their emergency department) as well as a freelance editor (focused primarily on technology and AI).
Sa’ad Shah – Co-founder and Managing Partner of Noetic Fund
Sa’ad Shah is the co-founder and managing partner of Noetic, a venture capital firm. He has spent 22 years in capital markets and the asset management industry with a focus on alternative investment strategies. Sa’ad was a managing director at The Carlyle Group. Currently, he is a co-founder and managing partner at Grey House Partners, a venture partner at Alpha Partners, an affiliate partner at Lindsay Goldberg LLC, and a venture advisor to Lear Capital LLC. He is also a filmmaker, scriptwriter and producer, and a board member of The Necessary Angel Theatre in Toronto and the Council of Advisors for The Wende Museum in Los Angeles. Sa’ad graduated with a BA in Economics and Political Science from Columbia University. Sa’ad is a member of the Board of Directors of Health Innovation Inc.
Brett is an executive with deep expertise leading healthcare and clinical services companies. With a Harvard Business School MBA, Brett is currently COO at Corus Orthodontists, responsible for strategic planning, new partner clinic onboarding, operational improvement, human resources, marketing & communications, systems, and digital strategy. Previously, Brett served as the COO of Medcan, a Toronto-based primary and diagnostic care company where he led all operations, clinician relations and government regulatory affairs. Earlier in his career, Brett was a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company, and also served in both issues management and policy roles in the Office of the Premier in Ontario.
Douglas Heintzman is the Chief Catalyst at the Blockchain Research Institute. He works with businesses and governments worldwide to help them understand and plan for the impact of Web3 technologies, (blockchain, AI, IoT and extended realities) on their organizations. He has been an entrepreneur/founder, COO, management consultant, board member, international standards leader, and strategy executive. He has also been a policy advisor and expert witness for the European Community, and the US and Canadian governments on technology, standards, and intellectual property. He holds five patents, sits on the board of directors for several companies and nonprofits, and advises many startups.
Tibor Turi – Project Lead for the Pan-Canadian Artificial Intelligence Compute Environment (PAICE) at CIFAR
Tibor Turi is the Project Lead for the Pan-Canadian Artificial Intelligence Compute Environment (PAICE) at CIFAR. He is responsible for overall project implementation and partnerships with national stakeholders at Canada’s three national AI Institutes in Edmonton (Amii), Montreal (Mila), and Toronto (Vector Institute) as well as the Digital Research Alliance of Canada, Innovation, Science and Economic Development, Canada (ISED), Calcul Quebec, Prairies DRI, partner universities, and host sites.
Before joining CIFAR, Tibor was Executive Director of the Southern Ontario Smart Computing Innovation Platform (SOSCIP), a collaborative industry-academic advanced research computing consortium building and partnerships to foster industry adoption of transformative technology through access to leading-edge technology platforms and comprehensive partnership services. Preceding SOSCIP, Tibor held progressively senior leadership roles in industrial and technology development, market and product development, product applications, intellectual property, business development, and government investment in the innovation ecosystem.
Hugh Frost – Founder of Client Lens Group Inc.
Hugh is an entrepreneur, a strategy and technology consultant, and an expert in AI, Data transformation and Automation, who has led award-winning digital transformation programs for banks, insurers, telcos and health care companies. He and the founder and MD of Client Lens Group; a consulting firm focused on Digital Transformation, Technology Strategy and Private Equity advisory.
In prior roles, Hugh was an Industry Partner leading Insurance in Canada for IBM Consulting. He was also a Partner at The Burnie Group, where he founded 2 consulting practices: Intelligent Automation and the Performance Management and Data Analytics practice areas. Hugh has also led large operations and IT departments, including leading Customer Analytics and Database Marketing at TELUS, working as a management consultant at McKinsey and Company, and leading several Applications and Infrastructure organizations for EDS in EMEA and North America.
Hugh holds an MBA from London Business School specializing in PE and VC financeand strategy.
